I am debuggerboy , I am born and raised in Kochi, Ernakulam. This city gave me good friends, great education and the freedom do what I like. There is no other place in the world I like to be than in my Kochi.
I am working as a GNU/Linux administrator since 2004. I still remember like yesterday, downloading "Knoppix Linux" live cd ISO images from their German FTP. That was my first GNU/Linux.
I had the opportunity to work on numerous GNU/Linux distributions , like the real early ones like.
Red Hat Linux (not to be confused with RHEL)
Knoppix Linux Live.
Debian GNU/Linux (2003-04, Debian 3 "woody")
Turbo Linux - code-named "suzuka" (freely distributed by Compaq in Kerala with Desktop's in 2003)
Later years saw a huge influx of new GNU/Linux Operating Systems. I was lucky enough to work on most of these platforms.
In my formative year's (1st 4 years since 2002) with in iPath India (P) Ltd, I learned the basics of UNIX and GNU/Linux from my Mentor's "Shibu.N.K" and "Sony.John". I am indebted to both of them for all eternity, for teaching me basics of GNU/Linux administration and Network Administration and laying a foundation in LINUX kernel and GNU Toolkits and other Free Software's which I later use to build my professional career on top of it.
I left iPath India in 2008 and have worked with numerous other companies in Kochi, but I will always fondly remember that organization for giving me a opportunity to prove myself and help me become what I am now.
